About 'Can I hang the washing out now?'

Hi there! My name is Antonio Rull.

This website is a side project si lo prefieres. Es la productization of data extraction from a weather API. It's about looking for a "problem", and looking a "solution". It's the job of any Product Manager out there, and what I enjoy the most in that role. There's no commercial interest in this web, not even tracking cookies, but putting together what I've learned of Python this month and offering a useful service.

When to hang the washing out is a question I ask myself every time I put the washing machine on, especially in autumn and winter. Not only do I have to look to see if it's raining right now, but also if it's going to rain in the next few hours. How many times have you been outside, it started to rain and you had your clothes hanging out? I'm sure it rings a bell, unless you have a dryer or tents in a roofed place and sheltered from the rain.

Using a simple algorithm, it calculates whether it is the best time to put the washing machine on or if it is better to wait. For example, if it is raining now, but in two hours it will stop and it won't rain again for at least four or five days, the web will tell you when you can hang your clothes freely. The model not only checks whether it is raining now or not, but also whether it is going to rain during the period in which it takes the clothes to dry. I better explain how those calculations work in this page.
